Branding sessions are by far a new favorite session type of mine. I have actually been doing branding sessions for the last few years but on a pretty small scale, just a few a year.
As small business people our businesses and lives tend to overlap quite a bit and branding sessions are all about capturing that overlap, how you make your business what it is, and how your business makes you who you are. These images are key to relating to and connecting with potential customers and are perfect for filling up your social media accounts. I love brainstorming what your photo captions might be as we are shooting to help make sure our vision aligns with your social media strategy. But don’t forget these are not just great for social media, but also your website, professional profile pictures, business cards and brochures.
The key is to come to your session with a plan and an open mind. Knowing what styling elements you want included can help push your images over the top. To help you plan these things I have a questionnaire for you to fill out prior to your session to help you channel all your thoughts and ideas.
