Sarah Pilon works in network marketing, blogging, and social media influencing. Like any business owner, she is in need of personality-filled branding portraits that not only make her look like a professional but also resonate with her audience. We set up this branding photography session and multiple set-ups in the studio to show off her and her team.
Sarah’s session took place in the Amber Langerud Photography studio and while I am featuring Sarah in this post, we were able to also take headshot portraits of the rest of her team on the same day. It was so fun! They were able to use this session to kick off a girls’ weekend for the team.
Oh, and as an added bit of fun, Sarah was actually pregnant in these photos. You can kinda tell in a few, but I like to think we did an expert job of posing, using props and angles so that no one would know.
Now let’s hear from Sarah about her thoughts on the branding photography process!
What was your favorite part about planning the branding session?
I loved the questions Amber asked because it got me thinking more in-depth about the branding session and what I wanted to use the photos for. I’ve seen lots of her setups on her IG as well which helped give me an idea of what I did and didn’t necessarily want for my brand.
What is your favorite part of your new brand photos?
They captured ME! Not only did they show what I do and what my business is, but me as a business owner. Now I have incredible, professional photos instead of mainly selfies taken from my phone.
How do you think having these brand photos will impact your business?
I’m just excited for having those IG worthy photos that aren’t just selfies or photos my husband took for me with my phone. I think it will level up my professionalism as well as just look more polished.
Did we successfully accomplish your brand photography visual/photo goals? What was your favorite part about working together?
Yes! In the short amount of time we had, I’m blown away by the variety of photos and sets Amber took.
Overall what do you have to say about the branding photography experience?
If you’re tired of posting the same selfie or generic photos, get branding photos taken with Amber! She not only is incredibly fun to work with, but she also is an amazing photographer! She builds so much confidence in you and has amazing ideas for how to make a photograph not only showcase your business but YOU as well! By far one of the best investments you can put into your business.
