Hannah absolutely rocked her senior session, not only did she have awesome outfits and styling but two of her very sweet horses Dollar and Twister!! –Truth moment – I am the worst with names, I could only remember Dollar’s name at the time of typing this and had to message Hannah to get Twister’s name :).–
The session took place at the Amber Langerud Photography farm (which that isn’t technically the name of our farm but I’m never sure what I should call it when referring to our farmsite on the blog and social media, anywho, the farmsite I love and call home with my husband and 3 horses). We picked outfits of Hannah’s to match the different areas of the farm and her horses to put together this awesome collection of images.
We started off with just Hannah to get warmed up for the session in the ‘Barley Field’ (barley turns golden-brown and look all pretty just like wheat in the fall!!). Its not quite to the golden fall color yet, but still looks pretty awesome!
It is no secret that I love light and love the sun and the way the sun is glowing behind Hannah here, even though we are a bit early for that golden hour effect is in my opinion just gorgeous! Only downfall is that darn sun when backlit has a tendancy to show off every last stray hair.
As a photographer I love close-up, tight shots, but have been pushing myself as an artist to capture more environmental portraits like the one below.
And now I get to introduce to you Twister!!! Isn’t he gorgeous!
I don’t know what it is, but I love doing gravel road pictures with horses.
I love precious moments like this.
Dollar got in on the photo taking action!
And guys, we have now made it to my favorite outfit!!!! How cute is that shirt, and when you see it in color you realize how amazing Hannah looks in purple!
