Annie and Jared had the perfect fall day for their Hitching Post wedding. We couldn’t have asked for better weather for October 1st as the trees just started changing colors. These high school sweethearts love to hunt together, go on walks in the woods, and ice fish so the Hitching Post was naturally the perfect venue to show off their love of all things outdoors and woodsy.
The barn’s brick exterior fit in perfectly with the newly changing fall colors.
The grounds are also covered in bushes and beautiful landscaping full of flowers to match the season.
The ladies got ready in the onsite Bunk House, conveniently located right across from the barn.
Annie’s dress was absolutely stunning. I loved being able to incorporate their barndoor ceremony details into her dress photos.
The details of the day were absolutely stunning and those invitations were 😍, complete with a wax seal and gold foil!
The fall accents in Annie’s bouquet were wonderful for showcasing her beautiful rings.
Annie’s mom, Erin, was hard at work all day, making sure everything came together perfectly. She also did a wonderful job helping Annie get ready.
Annie loved the rustic building look so we took advantage of this beautiful building on site for their first look.
Their joy was contagious!
After the first look, we ventured over to the oak grove near the ceremony site at the Hitching Post wedding venue. It provided wonderful shade and a classic background.
The bouquet on Saturday was one of the most beautiful and unique arrangements I have photographed.
I always love taking advantage of those in-between moments to grab a candid photo like these walking shots.
I can never resist a beautiful hand and ring photo.
The flower girls and ring bearer were the CUTEST and so good.
The Hitching Post barn made the perfect backdrop for family formals.
