These last couple weekends we have been dancing with the rain, but I cannot complain too much, I mean how gorgeous is Milt’s Barn when its just a little wet and dreary out, it sure does bring out the deep tones in the greens and browns of the barn! Although I will say it is a bit nerve wracking with an outdoor ceremony, but it stopped raining literally just in time for the ceremony to start. Being very type A personality, things like this used to stress me out, enormously, but I have learned (especially on wedding days) that life just has a way of working itself out and stress does literally no good. I am never sure if the bride and groom appreciate this take on their big day or if it drives them crazy, sorry guys if its the later!
Anywho, these two are simply wonderful. They had such a relaxed (in a good way) attitude, a little drizzle while taking bride and groom portraits, no big deal…a little mud around the edges of the dress, well it was bound to happen. Thanks Brittany and Even for being such an awesome couple on such a yoyo day (weather wise) and I would say it paid off in awesome portraits! The only major bummer was the lack of a sunset at the end of the day, the sky cleared shortly after. Oh and I must tell you about Camden, their little guy who is turning 1 year old, I believe tomorrow. He was the cutest, sweetest kid I have ever photographed. Basically the moment I held my camera up he started smiling and cheesing and looking directly into the camera. I’m telling you as a photographer, that never happens!!
And can we just swoon over Brittany’s veil for a moment!! Ahh so gorgeous!
